Record Rainfall In South Florida Slows Travel

Posted: January 10, 2014

Several South Florida Counties have had unprecedented rainfall on Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th. The rain (up to 16+ inches) in some places has caused severe flooding, including the closing of I-95 in the Boynton Beach area. Many main thoroughfares have also flooded. Flood Warnings are in effect until 4:30 PM on Friday.

The areas experiencing flooding are from Palm BeachCounty (Boca Raton) north to Indian RiverCounty (Vero Beach). Those of you who are shipping cars in these areas please expect delays as roads are flooded and auto transport haulers must take care while driving, therefore some pick ups and deliveries of cars may be delayed.
